Gramsci on Film/Video

Ms. Laura Arduini of the Archivio Audiovisivo del Movimento Operaio e Democratico has kindly drawn our attention to a valuable document that is likely to be of special interest to many members of the IGS. It is a booklet entitled Gramsci e il Cinematografo which was prepared for the Archivio Audiovisivo by Fabrizio Berruti. The booklet contains detailed information on films about Antonio Gramsci--many of which are now also available in video-cassettes. The Archivio Audiovisivo, which was founded in 1985, also houses an extensive collection of audio-visual material related to the history of labor and the labor movement, especially in Italy.
